Fun Day!

Since over spring break this year we didn't do anything with my mom because we were in Florida, my mom wanted to spend a day with the boys and I doing fun stuff.  So she said.  We started the day off getting coffee and heading to Paint Your Plate in Edina.  We love going to Paint Your Plate.  The boys can engage their creative and artistic side while in a fun environment that I don't have to clean up afterward.

The boys each chose a small item to paint. Alex chose a dragon and Aiden a truck.  Both are indicators of their toy preferences at the current time.  They worked carefully and meticulously to paint their items.  Alex took his time and painted each groove to perfection.  Aiden was a little more freestyle than that.

My cousin, Cassie, had recently taken some time off work to watch the boys.  We were trying to find the most meaningful gift to give her and the boys picked out a plate to paint for her. 

After finishing our art work, we decided to head over the Mall of America to go on some rides.  We had to make it fast though because my mom had to get home because she and my dad were going to a movie.  So she said...
