Magical Time of the Year

This time of the year is magical for all ages.  Adults and children alike love going outside in the cold, all bundled up, in the early evening darkness and watching a parade of lights.  Everyone is so joyful and full of happiness and excitement.  Last Friday night we headed over to New Prague for their annual lights parade.  It's pretty short, but the perfect length for this time of the year.  The kinds were all bundled up; even though Aiden refused to keep his mittens on and I lost one of Alex's.

Andy was still on crutches, but got a perfect parking spot so was able to join us.  The Hoppe's joined us for the evening and Sam & Andy left after the parade.

When Sam and Andy left, Eva and I took the kids up to the park for the party with Santa.  We quickly checked it out and then quickly booked it to the warm car to go home and play.  We saw the mad dash for the goodie bags, but I think ours were a little too young for that.

Tis the Season!
