A random picture from the weekend. We have peacocks on a farm behind our house. They are the most annoying animals because their sounds are so loud and random. But, they are so beautiful. Alex saw one out of his window that was right across the street, so we ran out on the deck and got a good look. They are beautiful, but unfortunately this one did not spread it's wings this night.
Friday was a very difficult day for me. We found out our current daycare is closing and have to look (once again) for different daycare. After having a horrible first experience with daycare, I have learned it is not that easy finding good daycare. You want somebody who is going to love your children like you would. Of course that isn't quite possible, but after our first experience, the last two have been tremendous. We have been blessed. I am trying to stay positive through all this, despite the tears.
It was nice to have something to take my mind off of everything and spend some good time with a good friend. Our husbands were in a golf tournament on Saturday, so Eva and I took the kids to the Children's Museum in the cities. Alex calls it the purple building, because obviously it is a purple building. He was very excited to go again since we don't go that often.
And, it was perfect. Not busy at all and the kids had a blast playing together and taking in all the new things around them. Eva and I got to spend some time getting caught up and talking. Once in a while you need those chances to get in some friend time. We didn't get there until 5 pm, and we didn't leave until about a quarter to 8 at night. The kids did amazing since we stopped for dinner at 8 and got home at 9. My boys are not used to that, but it was a special night.
Here are some special pics from the night...
So lucky to have such fun experiences with fun people! Until next time...
