Summer is a great time to have a birthday. The days are longer, it is easier to come and go, people are generally happier and well, for a teacher, it's vacation! If (and I say that as a big IF) we ever had a third child, I would consider a summer birthday.
My parents always have us over for our birthdays for special birthday dinners. That continued on for my brother as my mom took my Grandma and Grandpa Andersen to International Falls one Saturday morning, spent the night, got up and came back, just in time for Luke's birthday dinner Sunday night.
Aren't they gorgeous?
There is never a shortage of things to do at my parent's house for the boys. Riding tractors (Aiden's favorite), playing baseball, and blowing bubbles are just some of the fun summertime activities.
Alex loves his Uncle Luke...sooooo much!
We gave Luke another brew kit. I think it was Andy's idea so that Andy could do another one too. Whatever, they enjoy it and I love how much Andy loves it.
Happy Birthday, Luke! You are one of the best brothers a girl could ask for! You better be careful, you just might beat me to 30! :)
