Lonsdale Community Days

For community days this year, we had our neighbors over for a BBQ and fire.  When we first moved to the neighborhood, we had fires almost every night.  And, no offense to the neighbors, but it was a little too much.  It is fun to do it every once in a while and this was the perfect night.

Aiden and Emily had fun eating the watermelon and playing on the deck.

Oh! Didn't I tell you...he climbs on everything!  So, here Aiden is sitting in the water table. 

The next day we headed to the Lonsdale Parade.  It started late.  It was raining.  It was long.  But, we had fun!  Eva had a great idea drive our cars up into the ditch and turn them around so we could sit in the tail gate and watch the parade go by.  It was perfect!  The parade people were putting candy in the car.  The kids had it made and were definitely hopped up on sugar by the end.  But, mine went home and took fabulous naps! ...which is nice.
