Sports Camp

This week Alex took part in a "Game On" camp in New Prague.  He called it Sports Camp.  His coach's name was Brody and Alex definitely looked up to him.

He was excited to go each morning from 10-12 pm and play games with other kids.  There were only 8 other kids participating in this camp, but it was perfect.

They played games like Ships Across the Ocean, Red Light-Green Light, Red Rover, Tag (all versions), Dodge Ball (soft balls, that's how they advertised it), parachutes, kick ball and others.  Alex especially enjoyed the parachute games.

On the last day all the kids received water bottles and metal necklaces. Although Alex says they are not necklaces.

It was definitely a worthwhile experience.  When Alex was busy at camp, Aiden and I went to the park, library, and one day ran to my school to do a couple of things.  It was nice quality time time with my two year old also!

  1. Sounds fun! That small of a group would be nic too. I've enjoyed my few times of just having Henry and me too. One on one time is nice, even if it's running errands! :)
