I tried so hard to make it to a year with both boys for their first haircuts. Alex had his at 11 months and now Aiden at 10 1/2 months. His beautiful, red hair was getting so long and in his face. He needed a TRIM. Not a cut :) Grandma Sandy has always been our barber and she does beautiful work, if I do say so myself.
He did exceptionally well as he sat in the sink, played with his toys and let Grandma cut away.
Of course I saved his beautiful locks of hair in a baggy and everyone made fun of me. I don't care. You can never get that baby hair back and that makes me sad. But, he looks a lot better with a trim now.
Welcome blogging buddy! I sure enjoy it, so hopefully you will too! Nice job on your first posts! I look forward to many more! :)
ReplyDeleteYay! Words can't even express how excited I am for you! Now we just need to get the Chadwick's on board :) I saved Milo's hair in a baggie too, so don't worry, I won't laugh at you!
ReplyDeleteI kept the newborn hair that thinned and fell out of each of my boys at a few weeks...and I saved their first haircut hair, too! I'm really sentimental about that sort of stuff. Everyone teases me, too. But I totally agree that you can never get it back and I like to look at it once in a while :)
