One thing I have really been wanting to do with the boys this summer is take them to Chutes and Ladders in the cities. I went their as a kid and had this great big memory of a huge playground. The boys absolutely love going to the park and could stay there all day and night. Although it isn't summer anymore, we headed there last weekend for a quick little day trip.
They had redone the park since I had been there last and it is huge! I would love to go back another day when we have more time and can explore the park more. It is a gorgeous area.
Alex was a little more timid than I imagined he would be, so we ended up staying more towards the little kids equipment and water.
I think Aiden would have been satisfied going down this slide for the whole time. He was loving trying to figure out just how it works.
My boys are best buds and they stuck together for most of the time here. I love to watch them explore and see the excitement on their faces.
It was a perfect day...a family day. The weather was gorgeous, the boys were in good moods and we got to cross something else off our list.
The water was so much fun! It got a little warm towards the end of our time there and both the boys were a little hesitant about the water. It didn't take Alex too long to warm up to the idea though and as you can see, he loved it! Aiden hung back by Daddy for most of the trip.
Of course we got a special Spiderman treat when leaving the park, too. I can't wait to take the boys back and plan our time a little better than this time.
