Sunday Fun-Day

I know I always look forward to Sunday-Fun Days with the family.  Nothing to do, but be together and enjoy the day.  I find it is almost always easier to co-parent and share the load.  Thank God my husband is so great and such a wonderful father.

For this Sunday Fun-Day we talked about different things we could do and settled on the Zoo.  My man loves wildlife and enjoys going to the Zoo once a summer with us.  This was the day.  It was perfect.  Lower 70's for temps and the Zoo wasn't packed.

The boys wanted to do the inside part first, which was perfect because we hadn't been there all summer.  It gets ignored while we enjoy the outside stuff and then usually the boys are too exhausted by the end to even attempt the inside stuff.  We did the tropics trail and the MN trail before hopping in to a play.  I didn't even know the Zoo did them and I guess it is just on certain (busier) days.  The boys loved it!

We also splurged on tickets to the Dinosaur exhibit, which got us in free on the Monorail..Good Deal!

The Dinosaur exhibit was fun to see again.  We saw it last year and both the boys were in tears before it was over with fright.  This year Alex loved it and could name off a lot of the different dinosaurs he has learned about from his flashcards and books.  Aiden stuck with Mom or Dad almost 100% of the time.

We saved the Monorail as the last activity for the day.  Good thing too because as soon it started to move, Aiden was fast asleep.

It was a great family day!
