On our seventh day in Washington we enjoyed a family day in Seattle. We hadn't done much there yet and I didn't think I wanted to spend a whole lot of time there with the family. I was expecting it to be busy. It was a Monday and it was packed. Although you could technically drive down in the Public Market, I would never recommend it. People just walk on the streets.
We were able to see so much in the Public Market including the fish flying at Pike's Place, the first ever Starbucks, a cheese factory where they were making the cheese right in front of you, and lots of beautiful flowers.
After visiting this hot spot we headed over to see another one, The Space Needle. Now, I know it is probably completely overrated and a complete waste of money, but I have never been to Seattle and I don't know if I will ever be back. I wanted to try it. It was a lot of money for what we saw, but I'm glad we did it. It was fun to see everything from a distance.
After the Space Needle we headed over to a local town for dinner at Five Guys Burgers and Fries for dinner. We walked around the local shops and enjoyed time together as a family before going back to the hotel to crash for the night. We were all very tired.
