The Adams Family

I couldn't resist the name for this blog post.  We were so fortunate to spend the day with some great family friends, The Adams Family.  They had a little girl, Liah, who is so precious.  She is one month to the day younger than Aiden and they are so similar.  Even with their red hair.  

They invited us out on their boat to go tubing and have a fun day on the lake.  It was the perfect day to be on the water.  We don't get to see them very often, so it takes the kids a while to warm up at first. Alex was not shy about jumping on that tube.  He even had both of his hands up in the air with all thumbs up.  That boy is going to give me a heart attack. 

They took us to a fun beach right on the lake.  The kids enjoyed playing at the beach's park and in the sand.  

After a fun day on the water, the Adams invited us over to their house for dinner.  We had a wonderful meal of brats, corn on the cob, salad, fresh cucumbers and desert.  The kids enjoyed playing with their dog, Sydney, too.  They played with chalk on the driveway and rode around the ATVs with the Dad's.  

Life is truly more enjoyable with friends like these!
